So I'll use this topic to post my stuff. Like I said in my intro, I mainly make forum signatures and wallpapers. But I also dabble in drawing and the such. Here's some examples:

You mean make a Rainbow Dash that can be placed on the mecs? if so, then you can look on DA for Rainbow Dash vectors. Not to disappoint or anything but doing a custom(not from the show) vector is very difficult. And just saying "make one" doesn't help me too much. If there's a particular pose you want that is from an episode then link it, and I'll vector it.

Could anypony tell me what programs you guys use, and maybe give me some hints on how to do it ?

I would love to try and make something like the one in my sig(which I asked a person on Devian art if I could use).

I use Photoshop CS5 [Pirated portable software, yo-ho yo-ho] along with PhotoScape [Freeware]

I use Photoshop CS5.5(pirated as well but I also use Illustrator for vector works.

As for hints, I would suggest just getting it and try to make some stuff. I started off by downloading Photoshop CS3 and making forum signatures. If you do go with this, then i would suggest to also download some PS brushes. They literally make the signatures. But that's all up to you
